In the 4 man front defense that Haysi ran much of last year the Defensive Ends were also down lineman because they lined up in a 3 point stance instead of a standing position that a DE would line up in running a 5 man front. I knew what you were referring to it just came out wrong for you I guess. I agree with Josh Yates being better at DT than DE but don't think I would agree with Wade whose best positions would be either DE or Middle Backer.
I couldn't be a college scout thats for sure because I'm biased and would only scout players who are blood related to me.
so are you saying that JMU made a wrong decision in not recruiting sperrow and recruting patrick b.c sperrow was a better DE?? is what you are saying or am i wrong?
do you seriously thing that sperrow could play on a D1-AA level

LOL...You just don't get it man...I don't even feel like taking the time to explain it.
Wade was the defensive tackle on my side and trust me he didn't mess up very often. He did an awesome job. At DE he was good but not like DL. And yeah he could've been a great middle linebacker but we needed him at end that year. I know the DE's were down in a 4-3. That's because DE's had C-Gap and outside unless the linebacker decided he was going to take c-gap. I know the 4-3 very well cause that's almost all we ran. I've just always called defensive tackles down lineman. No more bitching about my abreviations if you know what I mean
I know im wasting time and effort on this but who cares. As far as the honaker is concerned Sperow was cracked back on almost the entire night but his OLB Lance Compton or the Corner Jake Colley NEVER called it why do i know i played that game, and as far as i remember Patrick never did anything great defensively. And now for the recruiting Sperow had no one to recruit for him like im sure Patrick had. As far as thinkin he could make it theres no doubt in my mind IF Wade was willing to put fort the time and the effort it took to become strong and fast enough.
Well, b.e.d. you may have played that night, but it was pretty obvious that you didn't do jack against us either. None of you all did and don't blame it on the crack backs. I'm sure that the whole team were told they were coming all week because we do it all the time. I don't know who you are but I'm sure you are no were near getting any attention for all BDD. So don't try to blame the other defensive players.
ha ha ha well yeah im sure i couldnt make 8th team all time bdd but my skills were never in discussion here all i was sayin is its a team sport and his teamates wernt doing there part.
When I say DL I mean Down Lineman aka Defensive Tackles. You're missing the point of the post hahaha. I'm saying all three were better at the Down Lineman position than defensive end because they were switched to end their senior year
There goes OTF again talking like he is the coach or something, hey man if yoiu dont know who BED is then how so you know that he didnt get your attention? If you are basing the whole list on who and who does not get your attention at the game last year then Jake sure should not ever make it due to the fact that he did jack and got roasted by Patrick on one of the best catches i have seen i quite some time. I think what we have on here is a bunch of guys that know each other and are kissing some major ass?
